The Course
The 2017 Rapha Nocturne London will take place on the spectacular circuit in the heart of the City.
The finish straight will be located along Cheapside with St Pauls Cathedral as the back drop. At 1.3km the course is almost 250m longer than Smithfield and the finish straight is over double the length – however, it is not totally suited to the fast finishers with a technical section on the back straight.
The good news for spectators is that it will be much easier to access and move around the course. St Pauls tube is located right on the finish line with exits on either side of the finish line. At the other end of the finish straight Bank station is only a few hundred metres away and major rail links (Cannon Street, City Thamslink, Blackfriars) are only a 5 minute walk away.
There will be several expo areas including a special kids area (more on this soon)… and plenty of bars and restaurants to keep the party going including One New Change located right on the finish line – www.onenewchange.com
For participants we will have a new and improved rider village located in Guildhall Yard. With new facilities, rider bar and entertainment this will be the place to kick back before and after your race – more details will be available soon…
